Watercolor Wednesday

This became hummingbirds but that’s another post for another watercolor wednesday!
At least that’s my plan… Famous last words.
😉
I found I could say things with colors that I couldn’t say in any other way ~
things that I had no words for.~ Georgia O’Keeffe

You’re welcome, my dear and thanks for your kind comments. I keep thinking I’m done with blogging but seriously doubt I will ever completely give it up! xxx

Beautiful!

Thank you, Sarah!
Gretchen Del Rio
Soothing. May you be well.
ĽAdelaide
And you too, Gretchen. I’ve yet to get out of bed, dreading trip to new doctor.

Frankly they never help, only confuse.
I’m better off to sit in the quiet, alone, splashing my watercolor around with a salad for dinner. And quiet!
There’s a message in there I think….
Gretchen Del Rio
I think so too. A magnificent healer years ago told me….’it’s your body.’ I have always, always had extremely unusual body ailments. Be well…be joyful….

I love abstract art…and that is a great Georgia O’Keeffe quote. I believe it is true. Very nice artwork. 🙂
ĽAdelaide
Thank you so much. And it is one of my favorite Georgia quotes!

Love those words of Ms O’Keeffe and your butterflies will become in their own good time,

Thank you, sweet Joss! A favorite of mine too.

She was a fascinating woman and created such beauty for us.

Thanks, Cindy! 🙂

Your hummingbirds were essentially asking to be painted, weren’t they?
xoxo
ĽAdelaide
Of course they were! It’s always that way, even if it’s against the painter’s better judgement! These were really LOUD hummers too! 😉

Okay–the good news is you’re the artist and I’m not. LOL I don’t see no hummers in there! Oh, but I know you’ll help them materialize, which is why YOU’RE the artist and I’m not! 😉
I saw a tired, lonely, cowboy-less horse– and the craggy walls of New Mexico.
I think I have a need to go to the southwest…..LOL
ĽAdelaide
Haha nope.. Upside down on lower side I think…can’t exactly remember just now. I’ve paintings piling up, done & undone! Been getting ” it” out on the wet paper dripping with color. Since buying my little table, a drop- leaf no less, I’ve been able to pick up my brush on a whim, for better or not. Splashing in pink bubbles, smearing violet and lemon, joyful moments.
Oh my, I must go to bed. I even answered you backwards via comments! Ah well…much love, happy solstice – hoping those storms are banished from your place! xxxx

Love it dear Linda! So soft and colorful❤️

My apologies, sweet Violet, I am a bit tardy with some comments that were lost to me. I really wish that wouldn’t happen!! Thank you for your lovely words to me. I’m glad you enjoyed this little piece. ♡
